Zortrax Inkspire is a resin-based desktop 3D printer working in UV LCD technology. It's designed around a high-resolution LCD screen with UV LED backlighting that ensures every part of a layer is exposed to the same amount of UV light to uniformly cure the resin. A single pixel measures just 50x50 microns while minimal layer hight is only 25 microns. Zortrax Inkspire offers up to 9x the precision and 8x the speed compared with leading SLA 3D printers. It's perfect for engineering, short and medium series manufacturing as well as precision modeling in dental prosthetics or jewelry design.
The printer works with dedicated Zortrax Resins. Third-party resins are also supported, provided they can be cured by light with 405 nm wavelength. To guarantee the highest quality of prints on Zortrax Inkspire it is recommended to clean the models in Zortrax Ultrasonic Cleaner.
Dedicated Resins: Zortrax Resin BASIC, Zortrax Resin PRO, Zortrax Resin FLEXIBLE, Zortrax Resin DENTAL Model

IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT 3D PRINTING WITH THE INKSPIRE AND LIQUID RESINS:
Models that are printed with the Zortrax Inkspire 3D printer, like all models that are 3D printed with liquid resin printers, require proper preparation, as well as post processing right after the print is finished. The printed model must be cleansed in a liquid detergent to remove any uncured residue, then it must be cured using UV light.
Model Preparation
For successful printing with the Inkspire, models must be properly designed and prepared for 3D printing in Z-SUITE. Hollow models should be designed with a hole in the structure so that uncured resin is not trapped inside the model. When preparing a hollow model for printing in Z-SUITE, the hole must face the platform, which allows resin to drain into the resin tank.
Model orientation and proper support structures are also important factors for completing successful 3D prints with Inkspire. Please see the Zortrax Support Center's article on Inkspire Model Orientation and Supports for detailed instructions.
Cleaning
Remember to protect the model from UV light and clean the model immediately after the printing process is completed. Zortrax recommends using the Zortrax Ultrasonic Cleaner to clean models printed with the Inkspire. The Zortrax Ultrasonic Cleaner is a device that automatically cleans models using high frequency sound waves propagated in isopropyl alcohol. Just fill the Ultrasonic Cleaner's container with isopropyl alcohol, put the model in, and turn the device on. The cleaning process usually takes 10 minutes or less. The Zortrax Ultrasonic Cleaner can be purchased with the Inkspire printer at a discounted price.
Models can also be cleaned using the included cleaning box and isopropyl alcohol.
Curing
After cleaning and before exposing a model to any source of UV light, be sure to remove all of the raft and support structures from the model. Also, make sure the model has completely dried. Models can then be cured using a UV curing station or direct sunlight.
Resin Handling
Always wear safety gloves and glasses to protect your skin and eyes when working with liquid resin. When 3D printing with the Inkspire, make sure the room is properly ventilated. Do not expose the uncured resin to any sunlight. Have paper towels handy to wipe up any resin drips or spills. Any printing and post-processing waste, such as empty resin bottles, failed prints, supports, rafts, and paper towels with resin residues should be exposed to UV light for curing before disposal.
